Teaching carnival
The new teaching carnival is up over at Scrivenings. Man, I look forward to these so much. It's part of why I started my blog (which will branch out to talking about other things than just this one chapter, as soon as I send it out to my committee tonight). I'm going to try to get something together for the next one, in December.

OHMYGOD, it is too weird to have all these people linking through blogs! I know that blog - Scrivenings through my friend "Mystery Mommy" - who I met through Jim and my travels in NYC. So I've been to her house and everything. Now here I am here via Julia's blog and you've linked to him too.
I have to go sit down.
oh yeah - and can I link to your blog on mine?
Only if I can link to yours on mine. After I figure out the f$@&%ing code, which I accidentally deleted or something while trying to link The Stars Have Eyes (hence the text only, no link thing that's going on right now).
I am realizing that it's a small, small world of academic blogs, even though there are so many. I think you'd have a lot to contribute to a teaching carnival, since you've told some entertaining stories about your own trials and tribs in the profession.
You are more than welcome to link to mine. You can also just view my source code for doing the links. That is how I "learned" it...
